Band Saw Cutting
Automatic band saw; This machine is used to cut
channels, flat bar, I-beams, pipe, square bar, and tubes of varied materials.
(304 stainless steel, A36 H.R. Steel, 1018 C.R. Steel and 6061 Aluminum)
The automatic feed on our machine works by telling the computer the length and
quantity of parts and then pushing the start button. The shuttle vice moves
the material into the saw to the desired length and cuts parts to size. This
machine will hold tolerances of + or - 0.009" at speeds up to 410 surface feet
per minute. The maximum bundle we cut is 18" wide and 13" high.
We will cut 1 or 2 pieces and we do production cutting.
